Verify the exact app
Open the official app-store listing for your device and review the developer, update history, permissions, privacy label, and any separate in-app charges. A familiar name alone does not verify an app.
Match the device and login method
Choose the television, mobile, or desktop version intended for your operating system. Then select only the login type supplied by your authorized service, such as an account login or playlist URL.
Protect account information
Enter credentials directly in the verified app. Do not post screenshots containing a username, password, server address, or full playlist URL, and never submit payment-card details to a player login screen.
Complete the first sync
Allow categories and guide data to load before closing the app. Confirm device date and time if authorization or program-guide data appears incorrect.

- Confirm the connection limit
- Compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet when available
- Check whether the issue follows the account or only one player
